Today is the fourth year passing commemoration of Aluu 4 casualties

Precisely today October fifth in 2012, Ugonna Obuzor, Toku Lloyd, Chiadika Biringa, and Tekena Elkanah, all understudies of the University of Port Harcourt were lynched after they were dishonestly blamed for being cheats in Aluu, a group in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.

Three of them had escorted one of their companions to run settle an obligation with somebody who lived in the close-by town of Aluu. In the reason for settling the obligation, a misconception followed which transformed into a battle and the account holder began shouting, asserting that the young men were hoodlums.

The vigilante bunch (some of them presented above in court) in the town encompassed the young men, stripped them bare, tormented them until they were verging on oblivious. At that point within the sight of a vast group, the young men were dragged through mud, had solid sections dropped on their heads, auto tires loaded with petrol wrapped around their necks and blazed to death. No single individual has been sent to jail for the wrongdoing.

Tear Ugonna, Lloyd, Chidi and Tekena
