[BREAKING NEWS] NEW DISEASE SIMILAR TO EBOLA RECORDED IN REVERS, NIGERIA
In Rivers state, Nigeria a case of Dengue fever has been recorded.
It was recording on a Woman who is presently on admission at the University of Port Harcourt Teaching Hospital, (UPTH).
The latest development is said to be raising serious concern among medical peeso in the state. Dr Nnana Onyekwere, the director of public of public health made the disclosure to journalists in Port Harcourt.
He warned seriously that the Dengue fever is in the league of hemorrhagic fever like Ebola and Lassa fever but at a milder level. “The fever is similar to other hemorrhagic fevers like, Lassa and Ebola but at a milder level.
He further stated that there are symptoms of bleeding from some organs of the body that is affected. The woman has been put under a mosquito net to prevent the spread. There some species of
mosquito that transmit the disease, not all types. “However precautions have taken to prevent the spread."
